I am really surprised as my behaviour is excellent in Mirc. I have not caused any problems to the other Greek users. Why have these appeared? What can I do to coonect again?
Thanks,

John

Do you have a shared connection? Or maybe someone else on your computer have behaved not so sufficiently. smile

Go to the network webpage and e-mail the admin to see if the ban was on your IP specific. We can't really help you ban evade as it'd be against the servers policy so try e-mailing them to see if it comes up trumps.

I am also having an automatic kill problem. It is because IRC is not getting an ident response. I have logged on using a different ISP and had no problem. This leads me to believe it is because of my ISP. Is there any solution? Maybe a stand alone ident server? Anyone have any ideas. When I use my ISP it doesnt work, yet use another and it does. I have ident server on and all in Mirc. What can I do

Your ISP may have you firewalled, contact them and ask them to open port 113. Read this thread for other ideas.

It is strange, isn't it? Today I managed to connect again without any problems! The problem is propably the ISP.
My connection is shared, I have given my passoword and User Name to a friend. How can it cause problems in Mirc?
Where can I find a list wirh the Servers' url pages?

I'm not sure how it would cause problems with ident, except if your friend changes settings. If you didn't change anything it is weird how it didn't work one day, then did the next - another possibility is it being a server issue, that would actually seem more likely than your ISP.

What do you mean by "servers' url pages"? mIRC's servers.ini can be found at www.mirc.co.uk/servers.ini but if you mean a server list for your IRC network, type /links or check out their website. Or did you mean something else?
