Hello.

I recieved the verification command via email, yet it doesn't work when I try to use it. It says that the verification code is incorrect.

I've tried to make this work for hours. Help is needed.

That sounds like a nickname registration problem. If so, you will need to go to the network's #Help channel or other Services help channel and ask them.

From my experience though:

1) Make sure you haven't already AUTHed your nickname
2) Make sure you type the command correctly
3) Make sure the verification code is correct, and you fully copy/pasted it.
4) Make sure the verification code hasn't already expired.

As an FYI, mIRC is one client of many and has nothing to do with IRC services.

AUTHed my nickname? Could you elaborate?

Answers above based on the assumption you're talking about authorising (aka verifying) a nickname. If not, please elaborate on your problem, specifics matter smile

Could they possibly be talking about mIRC registration?
Just a thought. grin

I did think of that, but the fact that they mentioned a "command", and there is no "command" to register mIRC, I figured it was a reference to nick registration.

But it would be useful if the original poster elaborated as to exactly what they are trying to "verify".
