Hi,

I would like to see $nick.away and mIRC returns if $nick is away(true) or not away(false).

Up to Khaled to decide.

Since not all servers send a raw when someone goes away or comes back, mIRC would have to /whois someone every time somebody uses $nick().away, imagine the strain on the servers, especially if people loop though everyone in the channel checking if they're away (Which somebody most likely will).

No offense, but I think it's a bad idea.

it will b a good idea if mIRC will return $true $false or $null/0/-1
if the server doesn't support this feature- or don't know yet couz never /whoised, and just got into the channel.

But the point is that when someone sets themself away or back nobody else is notified, so there is no practical method for any kind of $nick().away identifier to work because mIRC simply doesn't know whether someone else is away or not unless it constantly asks the server, which is a very bad idea.

Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, and stupid comments are intentional.
