How would i gather info from a www page with sockets?

i dont know s*t about sockets, so how would i easyest do this? "removed the numbers, the part marked in red looks like: 11111&lid" confused

what your asking for is not for the faint of heart. its a complex process that requires not only a good knowledge of sockets but also of mirc scripting.... you might loook around for a .mrc file called weatherclient.mrc it goes out to weather sites and processes data from www pages. you could look it over as an example of a working script, but as i said above, this is not easy code.
