Now we have a listing of all the mirc.ini settings i thought brill, i can code a addon for dcc port so i dot have to hut around for the lot.

I did.

Only oe drawback

options, n4

i can readit
i can change it

i leave mirc and it over rites it

any ideas how i do it so it dont??

when you launch mirc, it reads mirc.ini. when yu exit mirc, it writes mirc.ini. (it may write mirc.ini when you click OK in the options, but it does NOT read mirc.ini again after you open mirc.

Well if we cant edit cause mirc overrites maybe its tie the value in htat file where give $ handle so we ca access them??

be nice to create inferaces for pieces or mirc that need them like router setups for one

maybe i outta line??

It would be nice to be able to reload the ini file, but then
that would mean every mIRC setting could be changed
via command/script .. it would still be nice though.
