I badly need my script to work with selected text in the active editbox.

There should be a way to get the selection's beginning and ending positions at least... Or directly getting selected text and pasting new text instead of selected one.

Please, teach me how to do that.

if u mean /editbox and $editbox then you cant it only lets u set what text u want in there and tells you what text is in there. Bit of a bummer for auto correction since evertime you replace the text the cursors at the end.

EDIT: lol.... nevermind.... I had dialogs on the brain. Been using them too much lately.

I was thinking that. The edit box in a dialog. So I didn't reply incase it wasn't.

Actually i meant an editbox of a channel/query/status window.

Not possible with the built-in commands.

Perhaps there is a DLL out there that could do what you want, though I don't know any.
