Forums Connection Issues Ping Timeout

Hello. my friend keeps getting d/c when he idles, this is the message * soy_sos has quit IRC (Ping timeout) but his internet isnt going down. This happens when he turns Idle. I was wondering if anyone out there knows how to fix it.
