Forums General Discussion Possible forum bug.

Sorry for the whereabouts of this thread, I didn't know where else to put it because the Bugs forum is for mIRC.

This is probably a waste of time but everytime I see someone registering a new user they are logged into the boards as "Anonymous". Now I've just seen someone called "IEatLeaves" registering a new user but is showing as a member.

I was thinking perhaps maybe that registered member is logged in and registering a new user? Any ideas anyone?

I wouldn't really call it a bug, the forums are allowing registered users to visit this page (and I would guess also allowing them to create new accounts) - which change their "Who's Online" record.

How else can people covertly troll the forums if they can't create another username?

There are also some bugs..
If in a [url] bb code the address is double quoted, all [url] being not evaluated(its simple is showed as it)
A url can't contain the [ or ] chars.. The %5B and %5D hexadecimals equivalent solve the problem.. Anyway.. There must be a way to pass them.. Hmm.. But that seem not work in phpbb too.. Okey..
