didn't know whether to put this in some other firewall thread or make a new...hope you don't mind I chose the second solution

recently I started using sygate p.f. pro 5.5 and it's a really great firewall. however there is this problem I am unable to solve - dccget doesn't work always, in most cases I get files but sometimes it just says "accepting send" and times out...the problem is not on the senders' side because when I shut it down or use ZA or Kerio it works flawlessly. So it must be something with Sygate configuration, some option I should uncheck I suppose
Has anyone had similar problems?

Thanks in advance!

Generaly this happens when mirc is randomly picking a port from a range and sometimes that range is in the allowed blocks inside the firewall rules. double check what mirc is using and what the firewall rules are set for
