Hi, I recently started an IRC Server on Windowx XP using IRCXPro, now when I and others want to connect to my irc server they have to type in my computer's IP address in order to connect instead of typing irc.blahblah.com, my netowork is called CosmosNet, how can I change it so that people can just connect to something like irc.cosmos.net?

buy a domain name and then point it to your IP address. You can do it freely however, by using something like www.dyndns.org or www.no-ip.com but the address will end up as irc.<youchoose>.no-ip.com or similar
