Forums mIRC Help No messages in channel after 2hrs idle

When I've been idle in a channel for 2 hours or more, all I see in the channel are the Join/Leave/Quit messages. The normal messages typed by chatters aren't shown anymore.
How can I disable this?
I've looked in the help and searched the board, but I can't find it.

have you been loading any remote files lately? "script", if so then unload it and try again..

No, not since my last mIRC upgrade. I'm gonna install 6.16 tonight and see what happens.
