Hi,
I think I've found a bug in the Sounds section, so I'll describe what happened.. First of all, I'm using mIRC 6.14, without a firewall, via cable modem.
I was downloading some stuff over DCC, and I thought that it would be nice to turn the Sounds ON, so I can do some other things, while it is downloading.. So, in the Sounds section, I've started to change sounds, for some events, and then it happened.
I've changed the first type of the sound in the ComboBox, to for ex. first.wav and then I've changed the second sound to, say, second.wav, after that I've returned to the first sound, and it was something default, instead of first.wav..
I noticed that, but I wasn't able to try to restart mIRC client to try again, because of the DCC in the progress, so, I tried on and on again and it had just become worse! As I was trying to change any of those sounds, it started to mess everything..
The next day, when the DCC was finished, I've restarted mIRC, and before connecting to any IRC server, I tried to configure the sounds, and it worked great. After connecting to the IRC server I wanted to be sure that everything is ok, so I tried to change the sounds again (this time not disconnecting from IRC server) and it happened again.
So, shortly, there is a possible problem in configuring the sounds, while the mIRC client is connected to a network..
Sorry if I was to explicit.. that's all
Mladen.
