This has more than likely been posted before the fire, but I'm gonna post it again. I believe mIRC should be able to handle multiple spaces in commands, identifiers, and variables.
Regarding log rotation, mIRC should have the ability to rotate logs of @windows, just as it can rotate those of channels, message windows, and the Status window by date, month, whatever.
