Ok, I think I get what you are saying, Go to Tools > Address book > Notify > Add > Nickname is needed as well as the address example: irc.twitch.tv then go to sounds and click the button to the left of the play button, I recommend you turn them both on, just from preference but honestly, I don't recommend doing this at all as IRC channels can get noisy with people sometimes.
