What's the format for html colours? Because, wouldn't that be quite bulky? Given that mIRC doesn't support it, it would look all weird to those using older clients, which would be many people.
With my idea, at least, if someone used control-kNN (where NN is any two digit number, from 00 to 99), it would show some colour, even if the wrong one, as opposed to garbled stuff.
