i am also having the same problem that started around the 25th november, i even formatted my hard drive thinking it was a problem with installing internet explorer 7, now and again i can get to download files (normally if i leave mirc on for a few days it just starts working again by itself but if i turn it off and back on it wont work anymore) ive been using BT for as long as i can remember with a bt voyager router/modem.
