I'm currently using mIRC v6.03 and wondering if a way exists to be able to preview the contents of the clipboard before pasting?

More detail...

I use ClipMate as an organizer for reference info. It automatically copies a stored clip to the clipboard when just viewing it. This means I have to be careful to not to open ClipMate before I paste something to mIRC that I manually copied or else it will be replaced by the contents of the stored clip from ClipMate. Make sense?

Anyway, what I want is to be able to have mIRC bring up a popup that contains the clip text and says "Are you sure?" type of thing. That way I can catch it more easily before I paste something to mIRC that I didn't intend to...

Ideally, for me, ClipMate would allow me to switch off the auto copy (and use it in just a "view" mode), but they won't as they developed it to be a clip (and paste) program...so...

this can be scripted, if you want to try it yourself you'll need

/help /clipboard
/help /window or /help /dialog

for starters. If you want someone to do it for you, best post a script request in scripts and popups
