//background -p $active img\image.jpg
results
* /background: no such file 'C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\My Documents\IRC\mIRC\#channel' (line 36, monitor.mrc)
Works well without $active (Window name) parameter.
Does seem to be a bug..
For now you can use -ap instead of -p $active
With active window yes, but not in other cases where I specify window name.
Hi. I'm from Spain.
/background have a BUG. Confirmed that. If specified a [window], not work.
Example: /background -p #chan "C:\mIRC\ble.png" --> error: * /background: no such file 'C:\mIRC\#chan'
If I use: /background -p "C:\mIRC\ble.png", works fine only in active window.
Fix it short please.
Regards, narien.
Just adding another report for this bug. I have a script that sets a background in an on JOIN and it triggers the bug every time.
Confirmed. This is indeed a bug; the [window] parameter is not properly handled, and it supposedly worked fine in 6.21.
Thanks this has been fixed for the next version.
