Hey.. Would'nt it be nice too see people you're talking to on mIRC? So an idea from me is to somehow put a webcam invitation into irc, and make it work so you can se them only in the msg window where you talk to them =)

This is something that you should recommend on the Trillian forums, but not the mIRC forums

The DCC VIDEO protocol already exists I believe. I don't see how support for that hurts mIRC's status as an IRC client.

I believe anything that would extend the experience of IRC users is worth adding, as long as the developer knows what he's doing and the installer filesize is reasonable.

Even after DCC sound and video possibilities are added, I'm sure this program will still be known as an IRC client, because IRC is where you initiate those sessions with friends you meet.

I'm just afraid we won't be able to provide full support for people who will have problems with their hardware devices.
