Mud, this is already a feature. Of course, since TWITCH requires some protocol-translation to get things right, you may be experiencing issues with the person who wrote your TWITCH script and not with mIRC itself.

In any event, the settings you're looking for are under:

Options [Alt+O] -> IRC -> [Events...] button.

You can change which events show, and where they are shown.
