you can't stop mIRC's version reply

excerpt from help ctcp events:

This will react to the standard time CTCP and will reply with the above message. Again, the /halt prevents the standard time reply from being sent.

Note: You can't prevent the standard version reply from being sent.

I might leave it to there amagination as to how to ignore just the version requests :-)

Preventing the default version reply is a violation of the mIRC Licence.
