I've been trying to connect for a couple hours ever since I got booted off IRC. Everyone I was in chat with has the same problem. I am just wondering if there is a server issue? my Server i'm on is KDFSnet. I'm just trying ot figure out if this is just our problem or if it's slightly more widespread. I apologize for any nomenclature problems I am not a heavy IRC guy, it's just a very nice chatroom for me. I apologize and tank you for your time.

There are thousands of IRC servers and they have no affiliation with each other.

If you are having trouble connecting to a particular IRC network, the solution in almost all cases is to try a different server on that network until you find one that works for you.

If you are unable to connect to any servers on a particular IRC network, it may be that the IRC network is experiencing problems in which case you would need to contact the owners of that IRC network to ask for help.
