These boards are mainly here for helping out fellow IRC users - even this "General" discussion Forum which can throw people off a little. You can always go to a Canadian channel (usually #Canada unsurprisingly!) and speak to Canadians there. Try www.searchirc.com or http://irc.netsplit.de/channels too.
