Forums mIRC Help having a trouble with bans and timers

Whenever I kick/ban someone, this is what happens:
* Timer 1 activated
[22:58:45] * leftgirl sets mode: +b *!*@t3o940p84.telia.com
* Timer 1 halted
[22:58:49] * m1cke was kicked by Suki (Banned)

The bots allways manage to beat me at the kicking part because of this timer, how do I remove it?

Looks like a revenge script to me, and since the majority of server don't appreciate them--I'm going to have to say no.

Its not revenge.... its a small chan on efnet, mostly just friends. Sometimes we get the occasional strange person coming in, and one of us usually just bans them. My problem is that this timer thing keeps me from doing the kicking, and one of the chan's bot does it.

Ahh, nevermind. Had a friend walk me through it. Just had to remove the /timer in the popups.

Adding an alias is probably the easiest way and what the majority of IRC users do.

ALT+R > Aliases

Put code like this in:



Then just use /kb nickname reason - in this example, it will ban *!*@hostname, but you can change the ban type to what you want. 2 or 3 is recommended.

Personally I'd kick first. Some user's have revenge scripts that can be a pain in the butt.
