obviously i know this isn't originally in mirc..
whenever i exit mirc, it restarts opens 12 windows (so fast i can't catch the names) cascades them all and exits, i tried a clean install and it still happens.. i was just wondering if anyone knew of any viruses that do this sort of thing?

Are the channels in the Windows menu at the top?

You won't like it when I get angry.

run one of the free online virus scanners, like housecall at www.trendmicro.com, sure does sound like a virus/trojan and many can essentially disable onboard virus scanners

check to see if you have any scripts loaded that may be set to start and autojoin channels

Have you opened the task manager to see if mirc.exe is open in there? if it is, sounds like you don't have a virus, but someone may have been on your machine and played about, theirs an exe file out there that can hide mIRC and re open it when it gets closed, then puts it as a background process, this is only a guess.
Can you press print screen in time and post a screenshot?
