Hi Khaled

With mIRC 7.47.1538 in the Favorites dialog when we randomly select some channels and click on the Names button, it checks all channels and then rescan only the ones we have selected.

Thanks for your bug report. Unfortunately I have not been able to reproduce this issue so far. When I select several channels and clicks the names button, the favorites dialog closes and the selected channels are looked up using /name. Are you sure that this started with this beta? I don't think there have been any changes to the favorites dialog in this beta cycle. Which version of Windows are you using?

I already know where the problem is. If you use the command first:

/who #channel

and then do the Names command, you will confirm that the problem arises.

But it does not always happen, which is strange.

Thanks for looking into it. I performed a /who on a large #channel several times, opened the channel folder, selected several channels, and clicked the Names button. It seemed to work correctly here - it closed the dialog and performed a /names on the selected channels.

Is it possible that a script might be interfering in some way? Can you reply with the results for:

Quote:
//echo -a $os $version $beta $md5($mircexe,2) $file($mircexe).sig $alias(0) $script(0) $dll(0) $com(0)

Also, if you test with mIRC v7.47, do you see the same issue?

Unload any alias, script, dll and test without them.. maybe a script/dll confuse it.

I have just tried again using a "/timer 0 5 /who #channel" to trigger a /who every five seconds, then opened the Favorites dialog, checked several channels, and clicked the Names button. I did this many times and each time, the favorites dialog closed, and a /names was performed on the checked channel.

Can you try this without any loaded scripts/DLLs to see if it still happens?

OK, forget about it. If the problem is only mine, then I get the problem anyway!
