Howdy hard to explain so here is an image of the issue:

This dang popup appears all the time when focus changes and covers my text.
This happened on my win7 machine but I would 'fix' it be restarting dwm.exe, on win10 that is not an option.
The registry edits don't quite do what I want for windows- which is never make only that popup display.

Anyone know how to disable/nuke it from orbit?
It's been an issue for me for years now over multiple os's, any help would be appreciated.

This looks like the window that Windows displays when you hover the mouse over an application's button in the Windows taskbar. I am not aware of anything mIRC can do to prevent that as it is a Windows feature. Can you see where the mouse is when this happens?

The mouse cursor is mostly over another application or hovering over mIRC.
I think it has something to do with the behavior of when you mouse over a background running application on the start bar but don't click and return the mouse to the foreground application. Just that it appears at odd times.

I did some digging and it seems this behavior is some quirky state windows gets its self into, so my only option is to live with it.

Thanks for reading/trying to help smile
