Forums Connection Issues huge drop on the download speed rate! help

hello,
just a few hours ago i was download with 600 kb/s but now it dropped to 20kb/s, and sometimes even to 3kb!
does anyone know the reason or how to fix it? please help!

Are you refering to DCC GET speed? If so;
Please type:

//echo -a $server $network $chan(0) $sslready

Are you sure this is happening over at your side and not from the DCC sender?
Has anyone else reported a similar issue?

yes, i mean the DCC GET speed.
am not sure if the problem is from me or the sender, but i get the same issue when i try to DCC GET from someone everyone.
i tried to copy/past the commands that you gived me :
irc.rizon.us Rizon #HorribleSubs $false
or
irc.rizon.us Rizon $false
got any idea?

It's very likely that your issue is not in the mIRC application itself.

Check to see if anyone else in your home or if you yourself are using any applications that hog your bandwidth. By default mIRC will not override any other applications bandwidth usage.

i already checked if the i have a connection problem but i don't think so, when am using torrent the download the speed is going really well though.
that's pretty confusing.
