Hi Guys/Gals,

Is there any way to identify the channel a notice was sent from? as $chan is not filled with a notice.

Nope; Notices are not sent from channels, but rather, the channel window (or status, query, or chat windows) simply serve as an outlet for typing the command in.

If the notice is sent to you, $nick will be filled in the on notice event, if the notice is sent to a channel, $chan will be filled.
If you get a notice from an user and you want to display the notice in all the channel you have in common with the user, check $comchan
