when we type /me, the color of that text is the same as our normal /say or /msg text. add an option that colorises our own actions into the default action color please.

eg.
now
own text color
own /me color
remote /me color

change to
own text color
own /me color
remote /me color

You must have a script loaded that is causing this, because it works perfectly for me.

no, you misunderstood what I said. What you are suggesting is the way it is already done. When I /me test I see:

[23:42] * codemastr test even though my default text color is black. What you are suggesting is the way mIRC already does it.

alt+K > "own text" = 10 (teal)
my actions become teal too
even though "action text" is set to purple, and other people's actions are purple, mine is teal

You can't change the /me part at the receiving end. That is a user preference.

If I were to type /me 4changed this action color to red
it's going to come out on your end as
* RoCk changed this action color to red
no matter what color you have action text set to in colors dialog .. unless you strip the codes.

Explain what ? ..
He made a suggestion...

If "Own Text" and "Normal Text" isnt the same color, your own /me will change to the color of "Own Text" ...
This isn't what he wants... he wants to be able to specifiy the color of own Actions .. aswell as own Text (normal messages) ... and not get stuck with that they must be the same color.

----

This is the wierd part that makes own Actions the same color as other users Actions.
If "Own Text" and "Normal Text" are the same color, your own /me will be the same color as other users action .
.. that's all good and well ... but "Own Text" must then be the same color as "Normal Text" ..

----
PS: by "Own Text" and "Normal Text" I mean the values ALT+K and $color uses ...
