Yes I know, I'm a hoser for posting what a million people have already asked for.

And I do use mircv6, but I don't really enjoy using dlls..and it doesn't have full ipv6 functionality. And mIRC 64bit would take years and years considering mIRC still relies on some 16bit code.

Oh well smile

Khaled said recently that a public beta with Unicode support will be released shortly; once that mammoth task has been completed, I expect things like IPv6 and 64bit support will be hot on its heels. Bringing mIRC up to date seems to be top priority at the moment.

Just as a footnote:

A 64-bit mIRC won't do anything helpful. mIRC is neither CPU nor data intensive, so it would not benefit from the two major 64bit features: 4gb+ memory space (mIRC certainly doesn't need that) and faster memory reads/copies (due to the ability to read/copy chunks 8bytes at a time rather than 4). Since mIRC doesn't need either of these improvements, I'd bet the only real benefit from a 64bit version would be not seeing "*32" in your process list.
