Forums mIRC Help Want private channels to pop into the foreground.

I am trying to setup my mIRC where someone sends me a private chat it pops up in a new window so that way I can acknowledge it right away. Now it just blinks at me in the toolbar. I know it can be done because prior to my computer needed to be reformatted it was setup this way but I never find the option to change this. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Maybe a simple script?

This can also be done without a script by going to options (alt+o) > irc > deselect Minimize query window.

This option used to be called Iconify query window. I'm not sure when it was changed.

I am horrible at scripts, but thanks for the info. However RoCk's recommendation of deselecting "Iconify query window" did the trick. Thank you both very much.
