I was just really bored when I did this and I wasn't aware that I would be banned. So how can I be unbanned? Obviously, I won't do it again, so if someone could help me, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you.

The networks are run by a completely seperate body of people, and there are many thousands of networks. You didn't even state which network you where having problems with. Contact an IRCop of the network, and see if they will help you.
