i need some help with the dcc trust options, i tried puting
ex: muse!Zaku-Rogu@adsl-69-152-240-63.dsl.snantx.swbell.net
ex: muse!~Zaku-Rogu@adsl-69-152-240-63.dsl.snantx.swbell.net
and even muse!*@*
and it still doesnt just accept files from that user, it still asks me to accept, i dont want to set it to recieve files from any1 for saftey reason, i know it probly sounds stupid but im just being safe. could some1 pleeeease tell me step by step instructions of what to do??

Click Show get dialog for non-trusted users. Then you'll be able to decide whether to accept when the file is sent.

but the point of this was so i dont have to decide, so itll automatically accept the files from the trusted users and so itll ask me for ppl who arent on the trusted list...

If you have it set up correctly, your trusted users will be able to send via DCC without any further assistance from you, however, non-trusted users will have to wait for you to authorize the transfer.

You'll only have to decide for people that aren't on your trusted users list.

Have you tried masks of the form muse!*Zaku-Rogu@*.dsl.snantx.swbell.net? Or even muse!*Zaku-Rogu@*.swbell.net? Unless you're very lucky, the dynamic part of the mask might change, so it's never a good idea to specify it. And the ~ part changes depending on that user's IdentD, so you have to wildcard it out too.

heres the person im trying to put in my trusted list:
DaT[007] is ~Administr@208.53.163.35 * datorrents

now what should i put?

I would recommend ?dat[007]!?administr@208.53.163.35 and the same changing the IP address to it's resolved address (if you can get a resolved address, I wasn't able to)

make sure auto-get file and minimize is checked in options/dcc/on send request
then click trusted and check the two boxes.
put nickname!Administr@208.53.163.35 in the box
