* Flood protection is on
* Trigger: 500, Queue: 999, User: 10, Ignore: 0
* 11 messages waiting in queue
* Ctcp protection is on

every time i do that it goes into queue and it messages the channel bit by bit which i dont want..

and if i dont 'queue my own messages' - i paste a large amount to channel and i flood out.

can someone please help me be able to paste large amounts of text and not flood out at the same time

I'm gonna sound like an ass here, but personally, I see zero need for pasting a lot of text at the same time. Even if you manage to paste the amount you want, MANY channels will ban you for flooding if you're pasting "that" much text

You could make a dialog with a textbox and some method to choose the destination for your text and then use a timer to send each line of the textbox with a one or two second delay.

You could use a add-on like this

It's originally used for pasting codes and scripts, but you can use it for pasting txt as well.
I used it a couple of times, and seems to work fine.
Just an idea, to keep it simple. Scripting all of it from the ground sounds like to much work to me.

Good luck in any case.
