Forums mIRC Help computer keeps restarting

Im relatively new to IRC and after about 10minutes on some channels my computer restarts. Im guessing its some sort of attack. Im running a new install of XP with zone alarm pro 6.. Any help would be appreciated as im about to pull my hair out..

make sure you have the latest version of mIRC installed (6.17) and have no scripts running and try again.

also, you could set the status window to log, so after you reboot you can see what messages might have been sent (or open a /debug window and log that)

make sure to check the logs from windows aswell (config window > admin tools > logs) to see if anything is in there
