Mentality Hoopy frood M Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 5,024 London, England	Make sure you're using an Administrator account, and that the folder mIRC.exe is in is not protected from another admin account. Also, right click the mIRC icon and go to Properties and make sure everything is okay. 'Read-only' and 'Hidden' should not be checked. You might want to check out www.microsoft.com and their support groups for help too, or perhaps a screenshot? Regards, Mentality/Chris
