OP aao_pwner Self-satisified door A Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 3	hey, I have a question about IRC (Duh) well, i am wondering about using proxies, im trying to get past a gline, it was a misunderstanding and i have no way of contacting the people to un-gline me for what my brother had done, lol. please help me, i am a noob i do know where to configure the proxies though

If there is no website, you'll have to ask your brother if he has a way of contacting them. If not, you will have to wait for the G-line to be removed. Obviously, if it is asked by this person, you can safely assume they are trying to evade a G-line and therefore, you should not help with it. It's a matter of common sense - if someone is trying to evade bans or flood/annoy/abuse/harass people on IRC, or you strongly suspect they are, either a) Refuse help b) Ask the person further questions as to what they want to use the help for (Unless it has been explicity described in their original post).
